We invite you to be the first to experience the newly renovated Palais Royale nestled on the shores of Lake Onario, with a magnificent lakeside courtyard capturing the view of the city beyond. Feel the energy that emanates from the history of the venue and the legendary greats who once performed there including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and others. About the Palais Royale:

Located at Sunnyside Beach, Palais Royale is a classic ballroom, built in 1921, that saw many of the big band and swing greats rock the house in its younger days, including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and others. The Palais features a sprung, cantilever hardwood floor -- the only one of its kind in Canada. There are two bars in the hall, a fireplace and an elevated band stage. Off the hall, there is a massive deck overlooking Lake Ontario. Plenty of history in a beautiful contemporary venue that has just reopened after extensive restoration and renovation.
